What's included in placement training?

  • Quantitative aptitude (number systems, arithmetic, data interpretation)
  • Verbal ability + reading comprehension
  • Logical reasoning + analytical puzzles
  • Group discussion frameworks (structured + spontaneous)
  • Personal interview prep - HR + technical lines of questioning
  • Resume review + writing workshop
  • Mock placement drives mirroring recruiter formats

How does KC's placement training process work?

  1. 1

    Baseline assessment

Diagnostic test across aptitude + reasoning to identify each student's starting profile and the highest-leverage gaps to close.

  2. 2

    Concept + practice (8-12 weeks)

Sectional concept teaching paired with practice sets calibrated to the difficulty of major recruiters' assessment platforms (AMCAT, eLitmus, Cocubes, company-internal tests).

  3. 3

    Mock GD + PI rounds

Group discussion sessions with rotating moderators; one-on-one mock interviews with feedback on framing, body language, and content depth.

  4. 4

    Mock placement drives

Full-day simulated recruiter visits - written round + GD + PI - to build comfort with the actual placement-day rhythm.

Who is this for?

Pre-final and final-year engineering, BBA, BCA, and commerce students preparing for campus placements. Also offered as an institutional partnership for college placement cells looking to bring T.I.M.E.'s prep methodology in-house for a full cohort.

How long is the placement-training programme?

The full programme runs 12-16 weeks for individual students; institutional batches are tuned to the college's placement calendar (often 8-12 weeks intensive). Both versions cover the same core material - institutional batches add company-specific drills based on the recruiters expected on campus.

What's the difference between open enrolment and institutional?

Open enrolment runs as evening / weekend batches at the Coimbatore center; students from multiple colleges sit together. Institutional programmes run on the partner college's campus during scheduled placement-prep slots, with content tuned to that college's typical recruiter mix and student profile.

Do you cover the technical interview rounds for engineering students?

Yes for core CS/IT interview lines - data structures, OOPS, SQL, basic system design. For domain-specific technical rounds (mechanical, civil, electronics, etc.) we focus on interview frameworks and communication; the domain content is the student's own academic work.

Placement Training - frequently asked questions

No. Placement training prepares students for campus recruiter assessments - usually aptitude + GD + interview rounds testing employability skills. CAT / GATE / other entrance prep targets specific entrance exams for MBA / M.Tech programs. The two programmes can run in parallel for students considering both paths.
